Intermediate results on the cooperation agreement between Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption (ACSAAC) and JSC NC Astana EXPO-2017 have been summarized

A meeting on implementation of cooperation agreement with Kairat Kozhamzharov, Chairman of Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption and Akhmetzhan Yessimov, Chairman of the Board of JSC “National Company “Astana EXPO-2017”  was held today. Cooperation agreement was signed a year ago on the initiative of National Company’s leadership. The document aims to contribute to the effectiveness of cooperation through joint and coordinated actions on constructive basis and principle of transparency.

Akhmetzhan Yessimov noted that agreement has become a timely decision and increased responsibility among general contractors. Anti-corruption requirements were included in all contracts concluded by National Company, minimizing risks when signing such treaties.

In addition,measures  aimed at tightening the pricing of goods, works and services, which allowed to achieve savings in amount of 302  billion KZT,  only at the construction of EXPO building projects, excluding operating activities, were taken. Kazakhstan's content had increased,  new jobs had been formed and kept (50 thousand places) and domestic production had been supported (goods purchased  on 53.2 billion KZT).

In his turn, the Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-corruption Kairat Kozhamzharov noted transparency in the activities of current leadership of the National Company.

«I think that those tasks that the Head of State set before us and our society's expectations were realized. I want to thank our colleagues for their assistance and to assure that all measures taken will lead to the avoidance of any confusion in terms of compliance with the law», - Kairat Kozhamzharov said.
